Brendan Loo Gee follows in the footsteps of Toby Hodgson as the second ACHI Fellowship candidate to secure a work placement at the Australian Digital Health Agency.

Brendan has joined the Agency as a Digital Health Officer working in the clinical governance division. The hands-on experience at the Agency will help him to further apply his skills and experience in developing mobile applications to solve individual health problems.

“With hands-on experience with the Agency I hope to further develop my understanding and application of digital health interventions to solve complex problems in healthcare delivery,” Brendan said.
The ACHI Fellowship is entering its second year with 22 candidates currently enrolled in the program across Australia and New Zealand.

“I’m delighted at the growth of the Fellowship Program so far. Going forward, we are exploring opportunities for international placements and building on our existing relationships with partners to secure more work placements.” Professor Enrico Coiera said.

The Fellowship by Training Program has been developed and funded by the CRE in Digital Health in partnership with the Australasian College of Health Informatics.
Applications are now open for enrolments in 2019.
